"Had a 120x16' driveway and sidewalk replaced by a run of the mill private
contractor back in June of 2021. It was the most horrible concrete job I'd ever
seen. The repair options were just not acceptable. So I went from trying to
repair it to having to replace it.
We had many contractors come out to look at the job. Non of them seemed to
understand what had happened to this driveway. But when Randy of Superior came
to look at the job, he knew knew exactly what had happened. Of coarse he offered
condolences. But the fact that he knew right off the bat what the previous
contractor had done wrong convinced me I wanted Superior to do this job.
The driveway needed to be able to handle a heavy motor home. Superior made some
recommendations that the original contractor didn't. Superior recommended a 5"
thick for the weight of the Motor home. We ended up making it 6" thick using
Superiors commercial fiber 3000 psi concrete. He also recommended widening the
apron for easier backing in a Motor home. That worked out perfect. He also
recommended running a PVC line across the driveway so that we could add some
lighting down the road. We did that too and I'm sure I will be glad we did.
They demo'd it on a Tuesday. Formed it all on Thursday. Then the following
Tuesday poured and finished it in a single day. There were 11 people here at
7:30am in the morning and they were finished, cleaned up, and gone by 4:00pm.
Watching them do this job was a thing of beauty. These guys all knew exactly
what they were doing. They were all meticulous with their jobs. It has now been
3 weeks and we have a beautiful driveway.
It was not cheap by any means. But we are so happy we got exactly what we paid
for. Down the road we will be putting an RV pad out back. Superior will be my
choice for that. I highly recommend Superior Concrete for ANY of your concrete
needs."
